Taapsee Pannu: Designer Hemant Trivedi's Rude Remark Embarrassed Her On Ramp And Then She Rose Like A Phoenix From The Ashes

It's a full blown story of 'Saabit karke dikhaungi' and you cannot have two opinions on that. The success story of Taapsee Pannu is in her honesty that she is not good at auditions or rehearsals but full-blast when the director calls 'Action' on the set, in her no-reservations policy of informing filmmakers that she would like to be a part of their project, and of course from where it all began at the Femina Miss India 2008 where designer Hemant Trivedi passed an insulting remark by telling her, "if it was in my hand, you wouldn't have been here". Well Trivedi, good that it wasn't in your hand. Else who knows, Bollywood wouldn't have had Taapsee Pannu, who is making all the right noises since quite some time. Mulk, Soorma and now Manmarziyaan have put 3 cherries on her cake. Maybe it all began from Pink.

I have always felt that she is extremely talented. In my review of Mulk, I wrote, " Taapsee Pannu, who plays the lawyer, is easily one of the strongest actresses of today. Who gave her a chance when she entered Bollywood? Mind you, no Godfather is wrapping his arms around her. Sugar daddies be damned, she does not like it sweet. Watch her in the climax when she brings the courtroom down. Watch her in the scenes when she waits outside the jail while Kapoor and Parwah is being questioned left, right and centre. Watch her in... the list is pretty long." In my review of Soorma, I wrote, "Taapsee Pannu is as good as she was in Pink, if not more. This girl can cry without looking out of sorts--- a quality that an actor must possess if he/she wants to be called an actor." In my review of Manmarziyaan, I wrote, "Confidence, thy other name Taapsee Pannu. You can't say 'There's something about this girl', I did that galti se sometime back to her. This girl has everything about her. Watch her in the scene where she orders Abhishek to pour a drink for her without uttering a single word. Watch her in the scene where she walks into Vicky's home and despite a massive fret, cannot resist his overtures- the change in her facial expression has to be noted. Watch her when she tells Vicky 'Gaadi roko' and then scalds him. The list is long. Just one scene where she breaks down on her knees big time, I though that she could have done slightly better."  CLICK BELOW TO SEE HER FULL INTERVIEW:

Taapsee, you are gonna go far. You are travelling well. Keep your head on your shoulders like you have done so far, consistent success won't be a mirage.
